Creating a Computer account for Cloud Backup

Each computer that will back up data using the Intronis Cloud Backup service will need to be defined in the Intronis dashboard. To set up a computer account in the dashboard, please use the following steps:

 

 

  1. Log into the Intronis dashboard at https://manage.intronis.com

  2. Click on the Manage button.

  3. Click Add Computer.

  4. Fill out the Computer Information fields.

    - Enter a Computer Name. Please note this name does not have to match the local network name assigned to that computer.
    - Enter a Phone number and Email Address for backup notifications.

  5. Click Save.

 


You can create as many Computers as you want under a single Backup Account. Please note that all Computers within a Backup Account share the space allocated to that Backup Account. If the quota limit for a Backup Account is reached, no new data will be backed up from any of the Computers within that account. To request additional quota space in a Backup Account, please contact our support team.
